How to Unlock a Company or User

As many of us know, occasionally there may be times when we cannot access Opera, or we need to do an exclusive process such as take a backup and the company is not accessible. For instance, when you log into Opera it might say “This user cannot access their preferred company…” or alternatively when changing to a different company you may get the following message:







When a particular user is locking a data file, you may receive a message such as “another user has exclusive access…… Please try later”, this can occur whilst attempting an exclusive process such as a company backup or Period End.




Well do not worry because there are some steps you can try in the first instance that should assist with unlocking a Company or User.
