View or Disable the Event Log in Pegasus Opera 3

By default, Pegasus Opera 3 automatically maintains a log file that records when users log on and off the system. Each entry in the log includes the date and time of logging on or off, the terminal name and user ID. You can view the contents of this log file using the View Event Log command.

To View the Event Log

1) Open the Event log by going to Administration tab > System > Utilities

2) Click View Event Log

3) Under Date Range, enter the dates that determine the range of activities listed. Use the drop down menus to select the Company and User for which log activities are to be viewed.

4) Click Refresh to update the view

5) To close the View Event Log form, click Close.

Disable the Event Log

To disable this facility, untick the User Event and User Logs option on the System Preferences form.
