What XRL does
XRL extends Excel's familiar functionality, so building bespoke reports and analysis is often just a few clicks of the mouse.
Link Opera data to cells in a spreadsheet to build management reports — P&L, balance sheet — presenting live, accurate figures. Multi-dimensional Cube Analysis and Pivot Table shortcuts add further depth.
Interrogate any exported figure and drill through to the transactions behind it — from a customer turnover value to the invoice numbers, and on to the stock items on each invoice.
The Data Send facility takes information prepared in Excel and writes it back into Opera — nominal budgets, price lists, stock adjustments — with minimal effort.
Multiple Opera database tables can be interrogated onto a single Excel worksheet, so one report can draw on several parts of your Opera data at once.
Access to data in XRL is controlled by your Opera security settings, so users only ever see the information they are permitted to see.
XRL also integrates with Pegasus CIS, giving live access to Contracts, Jobs, Sales, Labour and Stock data for tighter control of expenditure and contract profitability.
